Tuğçe Çalış

Tugce Calis was born in 1992 in Turkey. After graduating from Hacettepe University, Department of Psychology, she provided training to children with special needs. She has carried out characteristic anormative portrait works by transferring the art of painting, which she has been interested in since her childhood, to a different dimension and blending it with psychology, which is her area of expertise. Her works have been exhibited in various initiatives and platforms. Calis focuses on the unifying power of the concept of the other by examining sociality from various frames in her works.
