Gizem Varış

I was born in Izmir. I graduated from Fine Arts High School. In the same year, I graduated from

Anadolu University, Education Main Art, Graphic Design. I have been working as a Visual Arts

teacher in a private educational institution in Izmir since 2014. In my drawings, I include children,

the main subject of my teaching profession, as a subject. In my works, I love to use the effects that

are a mixture of dry pencils and acrylic paints in my illustrations. Due to the fact that I work in the

private sector at an intense pace, making less production is not the thing I enjoy the most, it is my

reality.
