Ceyda Kurtes

She was born in Bursa in 1997. She graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Kütahya Dumlupınar University. After completing her Master’s degree in “Art and Design” (2019), she began the PhD programme in “Artistic Qualification” at the same university in 2022. Her projects have been exhibited at art platforms such as ‘BASE İstanbul’ and ‘Sanata Bi Yer’. She contributed illustrations to the books ‘Companions for Brave Girls’ and ‘Women Who Break the Mould’; her work has also been published in various journals including “Kafkaokur”, ‘Kıyı’da’ and ‘Plüton’. She currently continues her academic and artistic work as a research assistant and visual communication designer.
