Belkıs Aksu Çelebi is an illustrator and graphic designer from İzmir. She completed her
undergrad studies in Philosophy, followed by a master’s degree in Advertising.
Her illustrations are inspired by the daily life of 90s, social identity of current age, and
travel architecture. In her work, she uses watercolor, gouache, colored pencils and
drawing tablet to play with the concepts of synesthesia, social identity, and the art of
deduction.
She attended design markets in İzmir, London and Skopje; and organized illustration
workshops there.
Currently, she is based in Skopje, working on daily urban illustrations and architecture
coloring book projects.
