He was born in Izmir in 1968. He started cartoon in 1983 with the addition of Yeni Asır Newspaper’s Gıcık Humor. He has many awards from various national and international competitions so far. Durmaz, who has appeared in regional and national magazines and newspapers with cartoons, illustrations and cartoon stories, has been teaching illustration and creative pattern lessons for 3 years in Dokuz Eylul University, Fine Arts Faculty, Graphic Department. Durmaz, who has been interested in vector illustration for 8 years, offers his works for sale all over the world. He draws stories to Obruk Magazine, which will soon begin its life.
